Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and implement recreational activities tailored to the interests and abilities of participants.
- Facilitate group activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all members.
- Assist in the promotion of recreational programs through community outreach and marketing efforts.
- Monitor participant engagement and feedback to enhance program effectiveness and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members and community partners to create diverse programming options.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring they are safe and readily available for use.
- Evaluate the success of activities and suggest improvements for future programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in recreation management or related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with participants and staff.
- Basic knowledge of recreational activities, including arts, sports, and social games.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to participant safety.
- Experience in event planning or community programming is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in program execution.
