Job Brief
As a Rat Exterminator, you will play a critical role in safeguarding residential and commercial spaces from rodent infestations. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify signs of rat infestations and assess the extent of the problem.
- Apply chemical solutions and toxic gases safely and effectively to eradicate rat populations in compliance with safety regulations.
- Set and monitor traps to capture and remove rats from buildings and surrounding areas.
- Develop and implement integrated pest management strategies tailored to specific client needs.
- Provide recommendations for preventive measures to clients to reduce the risk of future infestations.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments and follow-up inspections.
- Stay updated on the latest pest control technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in pest management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Rat Exterminator or in a related pest control role.
- Knowledge of local regulations regarding pest control and chemical application.
- Ability to apply chemical treatments safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid pest control license or certification as required by state regulations.
