Job Brief
We are seeking a detail-oriented and certified Radon Inspector to conduct thorough laboratory and field tests aimed at monitoring environmental conditions and identifying sources of radon exposure. Responsibilities
- Conduct radon testing in residential and commercial properties using industry-standard equipment and methodologies.
- Collect and analyze samples of gases, soil, water, and other materials to monitor radon levels and ensure safety standards are met.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, analysis, and recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate with environmental scientists and engineers to address contamination issues and provide expert advice.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radon regulations, testing methods, and best practices in environmental safety.
- Educate property owners and stakeholders on radon risks and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations during inspections.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
- Certification as a Radon Measurement Provider or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Proven experience in environmental testing and analysis, specifically related to radon.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and produce clear reports.
- Proficiency in using radon detection equipment and laboratory testing methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
