Job Brief

The Radio Time Buyer is responsible for purchasing airtime across various radio stations to maximize advertising reach and optimize media budgets. Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with radio stations to secure optimal airtime slots for clients.
  • Analyze market trends and audience demographics to inform buying decisions and maximize ROI.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with radio station contacts and industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of radio advertising campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present reports on airtime purchases, performance metrics, and budget allocations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align radio advertising strategies with overall campaign objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies affecting radio advertising.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in media buying, specifically within the radio industry.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a strong understanding of contract terms and pricing strategies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret audience data and market research.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain industry relationships.
  • Proficiency in media buying software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
