Responsibilities
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with radio stations to secure optimal airtime slots for clients.
- Analyze market trends and audience demographics to inform buying decisions and maximize ROI.
- Manage and maintain relationships with radio station contacts and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of radio advertising campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and present reports on airtime purchases, performance metrics, and budget allocations.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align radio advertising strategies with overall campaign objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies affecting radio advertising.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in media buying, specifically within the radio industry.
- Proven negotiation skills with a strong understanding of contract terms and pricing strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret audience data and market research.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain industry relationships.
- Proficiency in media buying software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
