Responsibilities

- Monitor participants for rule infractions and make prompt decisions regarding penalties or disqualifications.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, coaches, and event staff to provide clear instructions and updates.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the specific sport’s regulations and officiating standards.
- Document and report any incidents or rule violations during events for review and record-keeping.
- Assist in the development and training of new officials and volunteers as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a race starter or official in competitive sports.
