Job Brief
As a Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Panel Installer, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar PV systems on roofs and other structures. Responsibilities
- Assemble and install solar PV systems according to site assessments and schematics.
- Measure, cut, and assemble structural framing and solar modules with precision.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform minor electrical work, including current checks and system diagnostics.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during installation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met on time.
- Document installation processes and maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients during and after installation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or certification preferred.
- Proven experience in solar PV installation or related fields.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for installation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work at heights safely.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
