Responsibilities
- Perform precise pruning of trees and shrubs using handsaws, hand pruners, clippers, and power pruners.
- Utilize climbing and rigging techniques to safely access tree canopies and remove unwanted branches.
- Assess the health and structural integrity of trees and recommend appropriate care measures.
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Follow industry safety regulations and best practices while working at heights.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project requirements and progress.
- Document work performed and report any issues or observations related to tree health.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tree pruning and care, preferably in an arboriculture or landscaping environment.
- Strong understanding of tree biology, pruning techniques, and plant health care.
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Certification in tree care or arboriculture is preferred.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor environments, including at heights.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of local regulations regarding tree maintenance and removal.
