- Maintain detailed records of claims and correspondence throughout the claims process.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to property damage claims.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a claims adjustor, specifically in property damage insurance.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess claims effectively.
- Proficient in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple claims simultaneously.
- Professional certifications such as AIC (Associate in Claims) or similar are a plus.
