Job Brief
As a Projector Booth Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating motion picture projection and sound reproduction equipment in various settings, including cinemas, theaters, and entertainment venues. Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate projection and sound systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate motion picture projection equipment during screenings, ensuring synchronization of audio and visual elements.
- Monitor and maintain projection equipment for quality assurance, troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on projection and sound equipment as needed.
- Coordinate with theater staff to manage screening schedules and audience needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized projector booth, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new projection technologies and systems.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in projection and sound technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Projector Booth Operator or in a similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of motion picture projection systems and sound reproduction technologies.
- Technical proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing audiovisual equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with digital cinema and traditional film projection methods.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in audiovisual technology is a plus.
