Job Brief

As a Product Safety Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet safety standards and regulations through rigorous testing and evaluation. Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety assessments and risk analyses for industrial products to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop and execute product safety test plans, including designing test procedures and protocols.
  • Analyze test data and document findings to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to improve product safety features.
  • Stay updated on industry safety standards and regulations, ensuring all testing practices align with current guidelines.
  • Prepare detailed reports and safety documentation for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide training and guidance on safety testing procedures to team members and other departments.
  • Participate in safety audits and inspections to enhance workplace safety initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial safety, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Safety Test Engineer or in a similar role within the engineering sector.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using testing equipment and software for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Certifications in safety engineering or related fields (e.g., Certified Safety Professional) are preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and other relevant quality assurance practices is a plus.
