Job Brief
As a Private Watchman, you will be responsible for safeguarding property and ensuring the safety of individuals by monitoring, guarding, and patrolling premises. Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect suspicious activity or unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular inspections of property and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Utilize surveillance equipment and technology to monitor premises and document activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, security breaches, and daily activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients and visitors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification preferred.
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with security equipment, including surveillance cameras and metal detectors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
- Valid security guard license or certification, as required by local regulations.
