As a Printed Circuit Board Drafter, you will play a pivotal role in the design and documentation of printed circuit board (PCB) layouts and assembly diagrams. Responsibilities
- Design and develop detailed wiring diagrams and PCB layout drawings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers to create assembly diagrams and specifications for PCB manufacturing.
- Review and revise designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Generate documentation and maintain records for PCB designs and modifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of printed circuit boards to verify design integrity and functionality.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during the assembly and testing phases.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in PCB drafting technologies.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proficient in PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad).
- Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit theory, and drafting standards.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
