Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Plastic Thread Milling Machine Setup Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending to milling or planing machines, specifically designed for processing plastic workpieces. Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate plastic thread milling machines according to specifications.
- Operate milling and planing machines to shape, groove, and profile plastic components.

- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on milling equipment to minimize downtime.
- Interpret technical drawings and project specifications to execute machining tasks accurately.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Document production processes and report any issues or discrepancies in output.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a milling machine operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of plastic machining processes and milling techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with machine setup, calibration, and maintenance procedures.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and precision in work.
- Ability to operate measuring tools and equipment to ensure accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or related field is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
