Job Brief
As a Plastic Cup Fabricating Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending to advanced molding and casting machines that produce high-quality plastic products. Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate plastic molding and casting machines for optimal production.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document production data, including output rates, material usage, and any machine issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in manufacturing preferred.
- Proven experience as a plastic cup fabricating machine operator or similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of plastic molding processes and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with quality control methods and ISO standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
