Responsibilities

- Collaborate with agricultural scientists and extension agents to disseminate research findings.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, data collection, and analysis for future reference.
- Stay updated on the latest research and technological advancements in plant pathology.
- Prepare scientific reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Provide training and guidance to junior researchers and interns in the field of plant etiology.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD degree in Plant Pathology, Botany, or a related biological science.
- Proven experience in plant disease research, including laboratory and fieldwork.
- Strong knowledge of plant biology, disease cycles, and pest management practices.
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, such as PCR and sequencing.
- Excellent data analysis skills using statistical software and bioinformatics tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to agricultural research and biosecurity.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in conducting experiments.
