Job Brief

As a Pharmaceutical Salesperson, you will leverage your technical and scientific knowledge to promote and sell pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals and institutions. Your role will involve building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that enhance patient care. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of postsecondary education in a relevant field, along with exceptional communication and negotiation skills to drive sales performance in the competitive pharmaceutical market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and hospital staff.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to effectively communicate the benefits of pharmaceutical products.
  • Identify and target potential clients within assigned territories to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Provide ongoing support and education to clients regarding product usage, benefits, and safety profiles.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and territory plans to management.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to network and stay updated on pharmaceutical advancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and regulatory affairs, to ensure compliance and alignment with company objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of postsecondary education in biology, chemistry, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or a similar technical sales role.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive informed sales decisions.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
