Job Brief
As a Pest Controller, you will be responsible for identifying and eliminating pest infestations in residential and commercial properties. This role requires expertise in applying chemical solutions, setting traps, and utilizing various techniques to manage pests effectively. Ideal candidates will possess at least 2 years of experience in pest control, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine appropriate control measures.
- Apply or release chemical solutions and toxic gases in compliance with safety regulations to eliminate pests.
- Set traps and bait stations to capture or kill pests and vermin effectively.
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and maintenance practices to minimize future infestations.
- Document all pest control activities and maintain accurate records of treatments and customer interactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pest control products, and safety protocols to ensure effective service delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with pest control services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; pest control certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pest control or a related field.
- Knowledge of pest biology, behavior, and control methods.
- Proficient in using pest control equipment and safety gear.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
