The Personnel Recruiter plays a crucial role in the recruitment process by sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to place qualified individuals within the organization. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
- Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for open positions.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of candidate applications and interview feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Personnel Recruiter or similar role in talent acquisition.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and techniques, including behavioral interviewing.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR databases.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring.
- Certifications in HR or recruitment (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
