Job Brief
As a Personal Fitness Trainer, you will be responsible for instructing and coaching individuals or groups in exercise activities to enhance personal fitness levels. Your primary role involves demonstrating techniques, observing clients, and providing corrective measures to improve their performance. Responsibilities
- Develop customized fitness programs based on individual client assessments and goals.
- Instruct clients on proper exercise techniques and form to maximize results and prevent injuries.
- Monitor client progress and provide feedback to enhance performance.
- Conduct fitness assessments and evaluations to track improvement and adjust programs accordingly.
- Create a motivational environment that encourages clients to push their limits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fitness trends, techniques, and equipment.
- Promote overall health and wellness through education on nutrition and lifestyle choices.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the training environment and equipment.
Requirements
- Certification from a recognized fitness organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ISSA).
- Strong understanding of exercise physiology and anatomy.
- Experience in personal training or group fitness instruction preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients of all fitness levels.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of nutrition and wellness practices.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate client availability.
