Job Brief

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Psychiatrist to diagnose, treat, and prevent mental disorders in children and adolescents. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders in children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and evidence-based methodologies.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities including psychotherapy, medication management, and family counseling.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to provide holistic care and support.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to families regarding mental health issues and treatment options.
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatric mental health care and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with a specialization in Psychiatry, preferably with a focus on pediatrics.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Strong knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in working with children and adolescents in clinical settings.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient and family interactions.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care and advocating for the mental health needs of young patients.
