Job Brief
The Patriot Fire Control Enhanced Operator/Maintainer is responsible for targeting, firing, and maintaining advanced weapon systems designed to neutralize enemy threats including positions, aircraft, and vessels. This role requires hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of field artillery, air defense systems, and naval weaponry. Successful candidates will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to operate complex targeting and firing computer systems.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Patriot missile systems and associated equipment for air defense operations.
- Conduct preventive and routine maintenance on weapons systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Test, inspect, and store ammunition, missiles, and torpedoes in compliance with safety protocols.
- Establish and maintain effective radio and wire communications during operations.
- Utilize weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to execute mission directives.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure precise targeting and effective engagement of enemy forces.
- Document maintenance activities, inspections, and operational readiness of equipment.
- Participate in training exercises to enhance operational skills and readiness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant military training preferred.
- Experience with missile systems, artillery, and related weaponry.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures for weapons systems and equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and leadership.
- Proficiency in operating computer systems for targeting and firing operations.
- Valid military certification in weapons operation and maintenance is a plus.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
