We are seeking a skilled Pastry Finisher to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts according to established recipes.
  • Decorate and finish pastries with precision, ensuring high aesthetic standards.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve the desired quality and taste.
  • Assist in developing new dessert recipes and menu items to enhance customer offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen workspace.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during meal periods.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards in all food preparation and handling.
  • Participate in inventory management, including ordering and stocking ingredients as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Finisher or in a similar role within a restaurant or bakery environment.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Creative flair and attention to detail in presentation and decoration of baked goods.
  • Familiarity with food safety guidelines and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
