Job Brief
We are seeking a dedicated Parking Line Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for painting parking lines, markings, and other structural surfaces using various tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray guns. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient organization of parking spaces, enhancing overall traffic flow. Ideal candidates will have experience in surface preparation and paint application, along with a keen eye for detail and consistency in color and finish.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and ensuring optimal adhesion for new paint.
- Mix paints and coatings to achieve desired colors and consistency, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Apply paint to parking lots, garages, and other designated areas using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
- Measure and mark layouts for parking lines and symbols, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition for optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks during painting operations.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines and project specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a painter, with a focus on line painting or similar roles.
- Familiarity with various painting techniques and tools, including spray guns and rollers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
- Knowledge of safety practices related to painting and surface preparation.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and physical environments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
