Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accessibility and compliance with legal standards.
  • Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including the preparation of exhibits and witness lists.
  • Interview clients and witnesses to obtain relevant case information and facts.
  • Manage case calendars and deadlines to ensure timely filing and compliance with court procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to case management and client communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
