Job Brief
The Parachute Rigger is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and packing of parachutes and related equipment used in military operations. Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair parachutes and related air delivery equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Pack parachutes according to military standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-jump inspections and post-jump evaluations of parachute systems.
- Collaborate with tactical operations teams to support airborne missions and training exercises.
- Document all maintenance activities and inspections in compliance with military regulations.
- Train personnel on parachute packing procedures and safety protocols.
- Utilize specialized rigging tools and equipment to perform accurate and efficient rigging tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in parachute rigging preferred.
- Proven experience as a Parachute Rigger in a military or tactical operations environment.
- Certification by a recognized military or civilian parachute rigging organization.
- Strong knowledge of parachute systems, rigging techniques, and safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in various environmental conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to work alongside diverse operational teams.
