Job Brief
As a Parachute Rigger, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and repair of rigging systems across various industries, including construction, manufacturing, logging, and entertainment. Responsibilities
- Set up, inspect, and maintain parachute and rigging systems for various applications.
- Repair and modify rigging equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to assess rigging needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments on rigging setups.
- Document all rigging procedures and maintenance activities for compliance and record-keeping.
- Train and mentor junior riggers and other personnel on safe rigging practices.
- Stay current with industry advancements and best practices in rigging technology.
- Ensure all rigging operations adhere to regulatory and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a parachute rigger or in a similar rigging role.
- Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, safety standards, and equipment maintenance.
- Certification in rigging and/or specialized training in parachute rigging is preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging environments.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
