Job Brief
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Package Handler to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for manually moving freight, stock, luggage, and other materials in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items consistently. Experience in warehouse operations or general labor is preferred, along with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manually load and unload packages and freight from vehicles and containers.
- Sort and organize materials and inventory in designated areas.
- Perform quality checks on packages to ensure accuracy and condition.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment as required for efficient handling of materials.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors promptly.
- Participate in training sessions and follow company procedures and policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or a similar manual labor position.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
