Job Brief

Responsibilities

  • Perform surgical procedures to correct or alleviate musculoskeletal issues, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor post-operative recovery, providing follow-up care and adjustments to treatment as necessary.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and surgical practices.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay abreast of the latest advancements in orthopaedic surgery.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, complying with healthcare regulations.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment options, recovery processes, and preventive care strategies.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in orthopaedic surgery.
  • Board certification in orthopaedic surgery is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy and surgical techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in interpreting diagnostic imaging studies (X-rays, MRIs, CT scans).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Active medical license to practice in the relevant state or region.
