Job Brief
The Operations Control Center Briefing Officer plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating communications, detection, and weapons systems necessary for the effective control of air, ground, and naval operations. This position requires extensive experience in military operations, emergency response planning, and operational readiness. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure seamless operational coordination.
- Formulate and implement emergency plans for natural and wartime disasters, ensuring rapid response capabilities.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies, facilitating effective multi-agency collaboration.
- Evaluate command center information and determine the need for high-level military and government reporting.
- Operate and manage surveillance and detection systems to maintain situational awareness.
- Provide technical information and advice on capabilities and operational readiness to senior military personnel.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to support mission objectives.
- Conduct regular assessments of operational procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the control center.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Military Science, Operations Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in military operations or a similar role within an operations control center.
- Proficiency in the use of advanced communication, detection, and weapons systems.
- Strong understanding of emergency response protocols and disaster management principles.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and agencies.
- Familiarity with military reporting standards and operational readiness assessments.
- Certification in relevant operational management or emergency response programs is a plus.
