Job Brief
As an Occupational Therapist Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting the occupational therapy team by performing delegated tasks under the close supervision of an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant. Responsibilities

- Monitor and document patient progress and feedback during therapy sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy materials and supplies.
- Support the occupational therapy team with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal care.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to protect patient health and well-being.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Basic knowledge of occupational therapy practices and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Physical stamina and ability to assist with lifting and moving patients.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
