Job Brief
As a Nutritionist, you will play a key role in planning and conducting food service and nutritional programs aimed at promoting health and managing disease prevention. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans based on client assessments.
- Conduct workshops and seminars to educate the community on nutrition and healthy eating habits.
- Supervise and manage food service operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform nutritional research and stay updated on the latest trends and findings in the nutrition field.
- Provide counseling services to help clients improve their dietary choices and lifestyle habits.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and program outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience in clinical nutrition, community nutrition, or food service management.
- Strong understanding of nutrition science and dietary guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using nutrition analysis software and electronic health records.
- Current knowledge of health trends, research, and evidence-based practices in nutrition.
