Job Brief
As a Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of materials and structures through advanced testing techniques. You will be responsible for conducting NDT inspections, analyzing results, and providing comprehensive reports to clients. This position requires a strong background in engineering technology, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in various NDT methods, such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing. Responsibilities
- Conduct Non Destructive Testing inspections on materials and structures using established NDT methods.
- Analyze test results and identify any defects or anomalies in materials.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings and recommendations for clients.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement testing protocols.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to NDT practices.
- Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment to ensure accurate testing results.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians in NDT methodologies.
- Stay current with advancements in NDT technology and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Certification in Non Destructive Testing (e.g., ASNT Level I, II, or III) from a recognized body.
- Proven experience in performing NDT inspections in various industries, including manufacturing, construction, or aerospace.
- Strong understanding of NDT principles, techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for report writing and client interactions.
- Proficient in the use of NDT software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
