Job Brief
As a Nitrogen Operator, you will play a critical role in controlling and operating chemical processes and systems of machines involved in nitrogen production and distribution. This position requires a solid understanding of chemical engineering principles, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure operational safety and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor nitrogen production equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Control and adjust process parameters to maintain optimal production levels and quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure proper functionality and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
- Document operational data and maintain accurate records of production processes and equipment performance.
- Implement safety protocols and participate in safety training to promote a safe working environment.
- Analyze process data to identify trends, optimize operations, and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in chemical operations or a similar role within the nitrogen production industry.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Ability to operate control systems and perform advanced troubleshooting on nitrogen production machinery.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Certification in hazardous materials handling and safety protocols is a plus.
- Willingness to work shifts and be available for on-call emergency response if necessary.
