Responsibilities
- Deliver newspapers to designated locations promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer subscriptions.
- Collect payments from customers and manage invoicing processes.
- Engage with customers to promote subscription renewals and additional services.
- Report any delivery issues or customer complaints to management immediately.
- Ensure the safe handling and transportation of newspapers to prevent damage.
- Follow local traffic and safety regulations while on the road.
- Perform basic administrative tasks, including keeping logs of deliveries and payments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in delivery or sales is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and payments.
- Physical stamina to carry and deliver newspapers in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with local geography and routes is highly beneficial.
