Job Brief

The Network Support Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing an organization’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and data communications infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze system and application logs to ensure scheduled jobs, including backups, are completed successfully.
  • Assess network and server resource consumption, implementing strategies to optimize performance.
  • Control user access and manage permissions to safeguard network security.
  • Install and upgrade software applications while ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Assist in network modeling, analysis, and planning to enhance communication efficiency.
  • Coordinate with hardware and software vendors to resolve technical issues and implement improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Support Manager or in a similar network management role.
  • Strong knowledge of network hardware and software protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and server management.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques.
  • Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with IT teams and end-users.
