Job Brief
As a Neon Molder, you will be responsible for molding, shaping, and forming various products using materials such as clay, glass, plaster, concrete, and stone. This role requires hands-on experience in casting and carving techniques to produce high-quality items including figurines, tiles, pipes, and candles. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to interpret designs accurately.
Responsibilities
- Mold and shape neon products using various materials, ensuring precision and quality standards.
- Cast, carve, and form items according to specifications and design requirements.
- Prepare and mix materials, maintaining safety and quality protocols during the molding process.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure adherence to quality control guidelines.
- Collaborate with design teams to understand project specifications and production timelines.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records for inventory and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Neon Molder or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of molding techniques and materials used in the production of neon items.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations relevant to molding processes.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Certification in relevant molding or manufacturing processes is a plus.
