Job Brief

As a Naval Flight Officer, Weapons Systems Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of various missions, including combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue. Your responsibilities will involve operating and directing advanced aircraft systems, including communications, radar, and weapons systems, while conducting thorough preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections. Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in military aviation operations and demonstrate strong leadership and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-flight duties to oversee mission execution, including combat and search and rescue operations.
  • Operate and manage aircraft communications and radar equipment to establish satellite linkages and enhance situational awareness.
  • Direct the use of aircraft weapons and defensive systems to ensure mission success and crew safety.
  • Conduct comprehensive preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment to maintain operational readiness.
  • Coordinate and execute cargo and personnel drops, ensuring precision and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Analyze mission data and collaborate with the flight crew to adapt strategies based on real-time intelligence.
  • Train and mentor junior officers in tactical operations and aircraft systems management.
  • Maintain proficiency in emergency procedures and contribute to mission debriefs to enhance future operations.

Requirements

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Active military service experience with a strong background in military aviation operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, including weapons, radar, and communications technology.
  • Certification as a Naval Flight Officer or equivalent, with a proven track record in a relevant operational environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively coordinate with flight crews and ground personnel.
  • Ability to pass rigorous physical and psychological evaluations as required by military standards.
