Job Brief
The Naval Aircrewman Tactical Helicopter plays a critical role in executing combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions. Responsibilities
- Perform in-flight duties to support combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions.
- Operate aircraft communications and detection systems, including satellite linkages and enemy communications jamming.
- Conduct preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain and operate aircraft weapons and defensive systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Manage in-flight refueling systems and execute emergency procedures effectively.
- Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and special equipment.
- Conduct cargo and personnel drops with precision and adherence to mission objectives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military training or relevant experience in aviation preferred.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, communications, and navigation technologies.
- Proven experience in operating and maintaining tactical aircraft equipment and weapons systems.
- Ability to perform under pressure and execute emergency protocols effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills for computing weight and balance data accurately.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork and mission execution.
- Current certifications in aviation operations and safety protocols are preferred.
