Responsibilities
- Operate and manage aircraft communications and detection systems, establishing satellite linkages and jamming enemy communications as needed.
- Conduct preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Operate and maintain aircraft weapons and defensive systems, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Manage in-flight refueling operations and maintain associated systems for efficient mission execution.
- Execute aircraft safety and emergency procedures, ensuring crew and passenger safety during all operations.
- Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and emergency equipment to maintain aircraft stability.
- Conduct cargo and personnel drops accurately, adhering to mission requirements and safety regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military training in aviation operations preferred.
- Valid aviation-related certifications as required by military standards.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including communication, detection, and defensive equipment.
- Proficient in performing aircraft inspections and maintenance under varying operational conditions.
