Job Brief
As a Naval Aircrewman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of military operations through in-flight duties. Responsibilities
- Perform in-flight duties to support combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions.
- Operate aircraft communications and detection systems, establishing satellite linkages and disabling enemy communications.
- Conduct preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain and operate aircraft weapons and defensive systems, ensuring they are fully functional.
- Manage in-flight refueling systems, assisting with fuel transfers during missions.
- Execute safety and emergency procedures to safeguard the crew and aircraft.
- Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and emergency equipment.
- Conduct cargo and personnel drops with precision during missions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military training in aviation or aeronautics preferred.
- Experience operating aircraft systems and equipment; prior military service is a plus.
- Strong understanding of aircraft safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and make quick decisions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with various crew members.
- Technical proficiency in operating and maintaining communication, detection, and weapon systems.
- Physical fitness to meet military standards and perform demanding tasks.
- Current certifications related to aviation operations and safety preferred.
