Responsibilities

  • Oversee drilling operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Provide technical advice and support to field personnel and project teams.
  • Analyze production data to optimize performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test new technologies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of engineering processes and project outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in natural gas engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, focusing on natural gas operations.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar applications.
  • Strong understanding of drilling techniques, reservoir engineering, and production optimization.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for technical documentation and collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed decisions based on findings.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental standards in the oil and gas sector.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.
