Job Brief
As a Motorcycle Service Technician, you will utilize your expertise in diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and overhauling a variety of motorized vehicles, including motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, and dirt bikes. Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues and electrical problems in motorcycles and similar vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
- Overhaul engines, transmissions, and other critical components to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle malfunctions.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and provide service recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to motorcycle maintenance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices within the workshop environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Motorcycle Service Technician or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of motorcycle systems, tools, and repair techniques.
- Certification from a recognized automotive or motorcycle service program is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Valid motorcycle mechanic certification is a plus.
