Job Brief

As a Motorcycle Service Technician, you will utilize your expertise in diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and overhauling a variety of motorized vehicles, including motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, and dirt bikes. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical issues and electrical problems in motorcycles and similar vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
  • Overhaul engines, transmissions, and other critical components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle malfunctions.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and provide service recommendations.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to motorcycle maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and best practices within the workshop environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Motorcycle Service Technician or similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of motorcycle systems, tools, and repair techniques.
  • Certification from a recognized automotive or motorcycle service program is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Valid motorcycle mechanic certification is a plus.
