Job Brief
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Motorcycle Deliverer to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering packages efficiently and safely using a motorcycle. The ideal candidate should have experience in delivery operations, possess excellent navigational skills, and demonstrate a commitment to customer service. This position requires adherence to traffic laws and safety regulations while ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents using a motorcycle, ensuring on-time arrival at designated locations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and minimal delays.
- Inspect the motorcycle regularly for safety and maintenance issues, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any delivery issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices.
- Assist in loading and unloading packages, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to improve delivery processes and efficiency.
Requirements
- Valid motorcycle driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with mobile apps and GPS navigation systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
