Job Brief
As a Motel Maid, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean, welcoming, and orderly environment for guests in our establishment. Your primary responsibilities will include performing light cleaning duties, such as making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role, possess strong attention to detail, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and properly arranged.
- Restock room supplies such as toiletries, linens, and paper products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in hallways and common areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or related roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
