Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Mosquito Sprayer to join our pest control team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying chemical solutions and utilizing traps to effectively eliminate mosquito populations and other pests in residential and commercial properties. Candidates should possess a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of pest control methods and safety protocols. Previous experience in pest management or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Apply chemical solutions and toxic gases to designated areas to control mosquito populations.
- Set traps and monitor pest activity to assess the effectiveness of treatment plans.
- Inspect properties for signs of infestations and recommend appropriate pest management strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of pesticide applications and pest control measures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations regarding the handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Educate clients on preventative measures and best practices for pest control.
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective pest management plans.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pest control technologies, and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification in pest control preferred.
- Previous experience in pest management, landscaping, or a related field.
- Knowledge of pest control techniques, chemical applications, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in various environments.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to physically perform tasks, including lifting equipment and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
