Job Brief
As a skilled Molding Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying various plastering materials, including interior and exterior plaster, cement, and stucco. This role requires expertise in setting ornamental plaster and involves preparing surfaces, mixing materials, and ensuring a high-quality finish. Responsibilities
- Apply interior and exterior plaster, cement, stucco, and similar materials to walls and ceilings.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed for optimal adhesion.
- Mix plaster and cement to achieve the desired consistency and texture.
- Set ornamental plaster and moldings with precision and attention to detail.
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project specifications are met.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques for plastering and finishing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Molding Plasterer or in a similar plastering role.
- Knowledge of plastering techniques and materials, including stucco and ornamental plaster.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship in finishing work.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Relevant certifications in plastering or construction preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
