Job Brief

The Mohel is a highly trained professional responsible for performing the Jewish ritual of Brit Milah, or circumcision, in accordance with Jewish law and tradition. Responsibilities

  • Perform Brit Milah ceremonies with precision and care, ensuring adherence to religious and safety protocols.
  • Educate families about the Brit Milah process, offering emotional and spiritual support throughout.
  • Maintain sterilization and cleanliness standards during procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately for record-keeping and compliance.
  • Provide follow-up care and advice to families post-procedure, addressing any concerns related to the healing process.
  • Stay updated on best practices and advancements in circumcision techniques and Jewish law.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Mohel or equivalent training in Jewish surgical practices.
