Job Brief
The Mobile Home Servicer is responsible for the installation, relocation, and maintenance of mobile homes and prefabricated buildings. This role requires hands-on experience in moving structures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and performing necessary repairs. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install and relocate mobile homes and prefabricated structures according to industry standards.
- Conduct site assessments to determine suitability for mobile home placement.
- Ensure compliance with local zoning laws and building codes during installations.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile homes, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service throughout the installation process.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, including repairs and maintenance history.
- Utilize heavy machinery and tools safely and efficiently in accordance with best practices.
- Respond promptly to service requests and emergency repairs to maintain customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mobile home servicing is a plus.
- Proven experience in mobile home installation or related fields.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to operate machinery and tools safely, including forklifts and cranes.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
