Job Brief
The Mix Crusher Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and tending machines to crush, grind, or polish various materials, including coal, glass, grain, stone, food, or rubber. This role requires hands-on experience and a strong understanding of machinery operations, safety protocols, and production processes. Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate crushing, grinding, or polishing machines according to specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure efficient production and quality standards are met.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, performing basic repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate production records and logs, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
- Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure proper functioning.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training preferred.
- Proven experience as a Mix Crusher Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to machinery operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet production demands.
