Job Brief
As a Missile Pad Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair, testing, adjustment, and installation of electronic equipment, including industrial controls, transmitters, and antennas. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic systems and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining complex equipment. Ideal candidates will have a background in electronics, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in electronic systems and equipment related to missile pad operations.
- Conduct tests on various electronic components to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications.
- Install and configure industrial control systems, antennas, and associated equipment.
- Adjust and calibrate electronic components based on operational requirements and testing results.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, testing procedures, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement upgrades and modifications to existing systems.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance and repair tasks.
- Provide technical support and guidance to operational staff regarding electronic equipment usage and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a mechanic or technician in electronics or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electronic systems, troubleshooting techniques, and repair procedures.
- Familiarity with industrial controls, transmitters, and antenna installations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant certifications in electronics or related fields are a plus.
